Welcome to the Troop 232, Atlanta, GA website.

Troop 232 is Atlanta's High Adventure Scout Troop.  Sponsored by the Northwest Presbyterian Church since 1963, Troop 232 has served the Atlanta Community with an award-winning scouting program that emphasizes outdoor adventure, teamwork, and leadership.  With over 100 scouts ages 11 to 18 years old and more than a dozen trained each of Scoutmasters and Committee members, Troop 232 offers an active fun-filled year-round program.  Troop 232 welcomes boys from all backgrounds and faiths.

Troop 232 meets every Monday night at 7:30 at NW Presbyterian Church, 4300 Northside Drive, Atlanta, GA 30327, in the Scout Hut.  Please come visit us.

Skymont Summer Camp: Fees for Merit Badge Classes

The following scouts fees were not received with the Skymont application. Trevor Arndt $15.00, Ryan Bell $15.00, Patrick Daly $20.00, Sean Dolan $32.00, Anderson Elmore $12.00, Ned Feininger $12.00, JH Fitzgerald $27.00; Jonathan Johnson $12.00, Jackson King $47.00, Seth Nuffer $27.00, Jack Preston $15.00. Submit a check to Troop 232 and mail to Mary Kay Payne 2896 Ridge Valley Rd, Atlanta, Ga 30327. All other scouts are up to date.

Skymont Summer Camp: Medical Information

For summer camp, Parts A, B & C of your Scout's medical forms must be dated July 1, 2013 or later. NO SCOUT WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE BUS WITHOUT CURRENT MEDICAL INFORMATION. Scout's medical information status at: www.troop232atl.com, left hand side click on "Medical form and consent form status of each scout."

50th Anniversary Campout

Sign-Ups For Appalachian Trail Backpacking Campout - April 12-13

Please plan to attend the Troop meeting on Monday, April 7, to sign up for the A.T. Backpacking Campout on April 12-13. Parents Meeting **New Date and Time**

is particularly important for new scouts parents.  You will have an apportunity to learn how the Troop works and also ask any questions you may have.

Upcoming Appalachian Trail Backpacking Campout: April 12 - 13

Troop 232's annual backpacking campout along the Appalachian Trail is fast approaching (April 12-13). This year we will be backpacking 13.2 miles from Tray Gap to Dicks Creek Gap. Please refer to the attached document, “A.T. 2014 Campout & Packing Details,” for more information about this great event. These details will be discussed thoroughly at Troop Meetings between now and the campout weekend, but you should read in the event there may be equipment needs to be taken care of in advance.
