Welcome to the Troop 232, Atlanta, GA website.

Troop 232 is Atlanta's High Adventure Scout Troop.  Sponsored by the Northwest Presbyterian Church since 1964, Troop 232 has served the Atlanta Community with an award-winning scouting program that emphasizes outdoor adventure, teamwork, and leadership.  With over 100 scouts ages 11 to 18 years old and more than a dozen trained each of Scoutmasters and Committee members, Troop 232 offers an active fun-filled year-round program.  Troop 232 welcomes boys from all backgrounds and faiths.

Troop 232 meets every Monday night at 7:30 at NW Presbyterian Church, 4300 Northside Drive, Atlanta, GA 30327, in the Scout Hut.  Please come visit us.

2016 Skymont: Scouts with Prescriptions & Dietary Restrictions, please read....

For Skymont scouts with special dietary concerns (i.e. Celiac) or medication requirements: 

1. Dietary concerns -  If your scout has special dietary concerns, please email me by June 6.    We can then consult the camp menu and coordinate the type of food you may need to pack and any special preparation needed with the camp kitchen staff.   

2016 Skymont Summer Camp: URGENT - Out of Date/Incomplete Medical Information - Don't Disappoint Your Scout!

Updated No Electronics Policy

We have updated the No Electronics Policy, and will be take a renewed approach at enforcement. Parents: Please read attached file, and know that any electronics we find will be confiscated and returned at end of campout.

Dear fellow scouts,

My name is Marshall Lynch and I am a hopeful Eagle looking for 5 or so hard workers to come help me on April 30, 2016 from 9am to 5pm (roughly the time frame ending is subject to change do to finishing early) at the Schenck School. I am refurbishing and planting in the school’s alphabet garden; work would involve digging, planting, mulching, and other garden related tasks for the day. Please plan to attend the Troop meeting on Monday, April 25, to sign-up for the Bartram Trail Backpacking Campout on April 30-May 1.  If you can’t attend Monday, but still want to sign-up, please do so by sending an e-mail to Mark Balloun at mballoun7@gmail.com no later than Monday 7:00 p.m.  In your e-mail, please include Scout’s name and Dad’s name if attending…Dads really needed!  More details below and attached:
